Profile
Quantum networks; continuous-variable quantum systems; reservoir computing

I am interested in all types of quantum networks. These might be formed by networks of interacting quantum systems, or the network might describe the correlation structure in the state of a many-body quantum system, or perhaps it's a communication network able to support quantum information processing protocols such as quantum key distribution.

My own work has concerned mainly networks of interacting continuous-variable quantum systems. I have considered them as structured environments for an open quantum system, the interplay between their structure and their properties as an environment and the indirect determination of their various properties with a local quantum probe.

In recent years I have been working on reservoir computing harnessing the dynamics of such quantum networks and I am currently immensely interested in all forms of reservoir computing, facilitated by artificial neural networks, classical physical systems or quantum systems.
