My PhD research focuses on the dynamics of open quantum systems with particular emphasis on the emergence of synchronization in the quantum regime.  I study whether it is possible to find synchronization behavior in typical quantum optical systems made of several interacting units and how this phenomenon is manifested in the properties of these systems.
