IFISC starts 8 new research projects in 2016

The Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness has granted IFISC financing to develop two research projects, according to the resolution published. These 2 projects granted must add to other 6, so in total IFISC begins 8 new research projects this year managing about 1 million euros.

The funding comes both from public institutions (European Commission, Spanish Government and French Government) and international private companies (Wolksvagen Foundation and University of Science and Technology King Abdullah). The realms that the projects are about are: Big Data and socio-technical systems, ecology and marine sciences and Photonics and quantum physics.

The new projects are BIGDATA4ATM, ESOTECOS, LAOP, CAASE, HYDROGENCONNECT, QUSTRUCT, NeuroQnet and ND-PHOT.
