IFISC
researcher (UIB-CSIC), Dr. Jose Ramasco, is one of the 16 scientists
who are part of the Multidisciplinary Working Group, created by the
fourth vice-president and Minister for Ecological Transition, Teresa
Ribera, and the Minister of Science and Innovation, Pedro Duque, with
the aim of advising the Government on scientific matters related to
the COVID-19 pandemic
and its future consequences.
This group will work on the
elaboration of proposals in lines of experimentation necessary to
obtain useful data for decision making. Subsequently, it will be in
charge of making proposals on the promotion of research and
innovation in Spain, the reordering of priorities, proposals to speed
up research times, the promotion of strategic lines to boost value
chains or a strategy for the promotion of dual capacities adaptable
to critical situations.
In
addition to José Ramasco, the group includes scientists Beatriz
