IFISC People: Luis Seoane

April 4, 2019

We are glad to introduce Luis Seoane to the other IFISC members. Luís Seoane graduated in physics from the University of Santiago de Compostela and computational neuroscience at the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience, associated to the Technische Universität Berlin. He prepared his doctoral thesis on complex systems at the Complex Systems Lab of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra supervised by Professor Ricard Solé.

At IFISC he will work as a postdoctoral María de Maeztu researcher in the lines of Information Processing in Biological Systems and Information Processing in Socio-Technological Systems, seeking to build bridges between the two. His area of interest are those processes in which the transfer of information through different scales (spatial, temporal, or complex) plays a relevant role in determining the evolution of a complex system.
