European Training Network on Post Digital Computing open call

April 2, 2020

POST-DIGITAL, a European Training Network, announces 15 positions on Post-Digital Computing for Early-Stage Researchers with the option of being awarded a doctoral degree. The main focus of the network is a photonics approach to neuromorphic computing, i.e. an unconventional approach to computing, which is inspired by nature and the brain.

IFISC (CSIC-UIB) participates by supervising 2 of the 15 projects available in the training program: "Advanced nonlinear transient computing: concepts and implementation" and "High-speed non-algorithmic analogue photonic computing with applications in telecom and datacom". Application deadline is 31st May. The 15 positions offered in POST-DIGITAL are for 36 months and expected to begin in summer 2020 (subject to negotiation). The candidates should comply with the MSCA eligibility and mobility rules. More information and application form at: https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/499106

POST-DIGITAL is a doctoral-level European Training Network (ETN) funded by the European Commission under Horizon2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 860360.
