Emilio Hernández-García has been appointed new director of IFISC

Since 14 April, IFISC has Emilio Hernández-García as the new Director of the institute. Also, in the following days, Claudio Mirasso will be designated as Deputy Director. Emilio will continue the work of the previous team led by Maxi San Miguel who was at the head of IFISC since the creation of the institute in 2007 until today.

In the words of the new director, "the new management team will continue forward this project of cross-disciplinary and strategic research in Complex Systems, which will only be possible thanks to the rigorous and creative scientific thinking of the staff, together with a collaborative spirit and engagement in IFISC as a collective task".
