Dr. Claudio R. Mirasso, new member of the Royal Academy of Medicine of the Balearic Islands

Claudio R. Mirasso, IFISC staff member, Principal Investigator of the IFISC Maria de Maeztu Unit of Excellence and Prof. of Physics of the University of the Balearic Islands, has joined the Royal Academy of Medicine of the Balearic Islands as a full member.
At the admission ceremony, which took place on Thursday 26 November 2020 in the Son Lledó auditorium on the university campus, Dr. Mirasso gave a speech entitled "On the physics of brain circuits in artificial neuronal networks", which dealt with how we can inspire artificial intelligence systems by learning from how our brains work.
