Conseller de Fons Europeus, Universitat i Cultura visits IFISC (UIB-CSIC)

On May 21, the conseller de Fons Europeus, Universitat i Cultura del Govern de les Illes Balears Miquel Company, accompanied by the secretaria autonómica de Universitat, Recerca i Política Lingüística, Agustina Vilaret, and the Director General de Política Universitària i Recerca, Josep Lluis Pons, visited IFISC (UIB-CSIC) to learn first-hand about the current state of its research work and how the recognition as a María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence has improved the institute's research activity.
On behalf of IFISC, the meeting was hosted by IFISC Director Emilio Hernández-García and Principal Investigator of the María de Maeztu programme, Claudio Mirasso. They were accompanied by the Rector of the UIB, Dr. Llorenç Huguet and the Vice-rector d'Investigació i Internacionalització, Dr. Enrique García.
