Experimental observed properties of water flea motion is modelled using a Random Walker model as well as Active Brownian Particles.
Diffusion coefficients can be derived analytically.
A simple food model is proposed and food consumption dependence on the diffusion coefficient is shown. An optimal coefficient exists.
