11/07/2016 Dr. A. Argyris gave an half-hour talk to the members of the nonlinear photonics group of IFISC. The title of the presentation was "Highly-correlated chaotic emission from bidirectionally coupled semiconductor lasers: application to secure communications" and included a resume of the recent results obtained by the speaker in the relevant fields.

05/10/2016 Dr A. Argyris gave an one-hour seminar talk to the members, researchers and students of IFISC. The title of the presentation was "Coupled semiconductor laser networks and applications" and included a resume of the recent results obtained by the speaker in the relevant fields, published within 2016, as well as the concepts and methodologies related to the MSC-IF CENTURION project.

ND-PHOT Meeting 2016 Talk
27/10/2016 Dr A. Argyris gave a fifteen-minute talk in the meeting of the ND-PHOT project, entitled "Nonlinear dynamics in photonics for future information and communication technologies". The title of the presentation was "Photonic reservoir computing for optical header recognition" and included some initial results on the operation of an Ikeda-based optoelectronic RC with delayed feedback, in the context of the studies related to the MSC-IF CENTURION project.

External visitors, IFISC students and IFISC members had the possibility to discuss with Dr. Argyris the recent advances of photonic reservoir computing in signal post-processing in optical communications.
