I started as a theoretician in conformal field theory and lattice models, slowly transitioned to complex systems and studied emergence from information-theoretic standpoint, and finally came to IFISC to pursue the dream of understanding the human society through physics. Currently I am helping to develop models for power grid control as a PhD project under the supervision of Damià Gomila and Pere Colet.
