Dynamical response of interacting quantum capacitors in the Coulomb Blockade regime

We investigate the time-dependent response of an interacting mesoscopic capacitor using the Floquet-Green Function formalism applied to a single-level Anderson model. We study the behavior of occupation, capacitance and the quantization of the resistance in the Coulomb Blockade regime for small ac voltages. We obtain different universal values of the resistance depending on the interaction strength and the energy level position. Furthermore, we analyze the effect of ac pulses of arbitrary strength beyond linear response. Our results might be relevant for metrology applications and quantum information processing.
