Profile
I am carrying out fundamental research in novel
approaches to all-optical computation. The final goal is to utilize the information
processing capacity of nonlinear dynamics in optical system for
implementing Reservoir Computing. Such a photonic information processing
scheme possibly has high future impact, since it could be realized in
power-efficient, high speed and off-the-shelf photonic components.
In addition, I investigate properties of nonlinear dynamics in optical media, which are of fundamental interest to the field of complex systems.
