We are glad to introduce Noemie Ehstand to the other IFISC members. Noemie obtained a bachelor in Physics from EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland) and a master in Computational Science from TUM (Technische Universität München, Germany)
At IFISC she will work as a PhD student under the supervision of Emilio Hernández-García and Cristóbal López, and in collaboration with Reik Donner (PIK-Potsdam, and Magdeburg-SUAS). Her research will focus on coherent structures in subseasonal-scale oceanic/atmospheric circulations, in the frame of the MSCA-ITN project CAFE: Climate Advanced Forecasting of subseasonal Extremes.
