Hector Vaquero was awarded best research report in the XXXII competition “Jóvenes Investigadores” organized by the Ministry of Universities and the Instituto de Juventud (INJUVE). His work, entitled “Desarrollo y aplicaciones de redes neuronales artificiales”, was developed at IFISC in 2021 and supervised by researchers Roberta Zambrini and Miguel C. Soriano.
The stay took place within the contest, which awarded the best research work carried out by students of ESO, Bachillerato and Formación Profesional from all over Spain. Héctor won the stay at IFISC with his work "Machine learning y huella dactilar para el diagnóstico de la enfermedad celíaca", coordinated by Blanca López and Cristina Jiménez.
