Anomalous diffusion appears in many problems of physics and chemistry, in
particular in electrochemistry, geophysics and environmental physics, as
well as of microbiology.
In this talk anomalously slow diffusion in the presence of a force
periodic in space will be discussed in the framework of the continuous
time random walk theory and fractional Fokker-Planck formalism.
