In this seminar I will discuss a series of quantum information protocols in
solid-state systems. In particular, quantum teleportation and quantum state
transfer in arrays of quantum dots are introduced, together with an
approximation theory to study entanglement dynamics in a Bose-Hubbard
lattice. Finally, the problem of decoherence due to electron-phonon
interaction will be presented.
