Fundación SICOMORO

The Fundación Sicómoro is a non-profit organization, with a scientific base, dedicated to the study of the General Theory of Systems and its application in the different domains of Science, having as its ultimate goal the definition of a new epistemology based on the concept of "system".

With these objectives, together with that of scientific dissemination, which is also considered relevant, the Fundación Sicómoro continuously develops a series of activities to consolidate a community of interest around the study of complex systems, which includes both specialists and people taking their first steps in this field; among which we can highlight the organization of dissemination conferences, support the participation of young researchers and specialist speakers in conferences and specialized meetings (for example the CCS2022), collaborate in the organization of these academic meeting spaces and support training programs that deal with this subject. Accompanied by an extensive work of dissemination of relevant content for the community interested in complex systems through our digital media (website, Social Networks and App Sicómoro) and the possibility of publishing, through its editorial project, material that may be useful for the study of this field.
