Drug absorption in the intestinal tract happens due to two different processes: passive diffusion and active transport via a molecular pump. The active transport is usually described as a Michaelis-Menten process.

Little is known about the number and location of the pumps (inside/outside the intestine) and its governing parameters.

In this work differential equations describing the continuous concentration
transport are analysed. Long term end short term solutions are desired. Besides we try to explain the variability in the measurements,
introducing variablitiy or noise into the equations. Equations with
absorbing boundaries are integrated.
