Presentation of "Memoria de Investigación":
This work deals with two different fields of research. A very short introduction into the field of biological motion on the example of Daphnia is followed by an analysis in the second field of research. It is about (P-gp limited) drug absorption through cell monolayers. The experimental background is presented and a mathematical approximation to the theoretical model is developed. The results give explicit expressions for efflux ratio and other quantities in dependence on the physiological parameters.
