MdM Quantum meeting: Flatband phenomena and Quantum Geometry in correlated electron systems
I will review recent developments around flatland phenomena in quantum materials such as kagome metals and twisted materials. I show how the language of quantum geometry might prove useful in exotic quantum states such as fractional Chern insulators.
