Research Interests My current research interests mainly focus in the study of the dynamics and stability of an electric power network, in the conception of algorithms or protocols for the control and stabilization of the electric frequency system subjected to stochastic variations. These interests aim to favor a soft transition from the traditional grid to a smart grid integrating renewable energy sources. My research employs the combination of analytical calculations and numerical methods, results of the strong background in theoretical Physics obtained during my Physics training. In general, I am interested in the following research fields:
- Stability of electric network
- Smart grid, smart cities
- Energy Harvesting System for small devices
- Biological complex system
- Modeling and simulation of nonlinear partial differential equations
- Nonlinear Dynamics of electromechanical systems
- Modeling and Optimization of Mechatronical systems.
These fields include research topic I was evolved in during my Master training and some years before my current position.
