Generally speaking, my research is about epidemics of immobile hosts. In particular, I am studying the epidemics caused by the bacterium Xylella fastidiosa (Almond Leaf Scorch Disease, Pierce Disease, Olive Quich Decline Syndrome) and the parasite Haplosporidium pinnae (Mass Mortality Event of Pinna nobilis).
