Spontaneous synchronization is a largely studied phenomenon in classical physical, biological and chemical systems and the aim of this talk is to explore it in the quantum regime. We consider a fundamental model of coupled quantum harmonic oscillators dissipating into the environment. Depending on the form of dissipation, a collective coherent oscillation can arise and by tuning one of the oscillators the effect appears on the whole network or in motives. We show that this phenomenon is accompanied by robust quantum correlations between the oscillators, preventing the leak of information from the system into the environment. The possibility to entangle two nodes by proper connection to a network is also discussed.
