IFISC PhD student wins prize in Concurs de Pòsters de Doctorat awards

IFISC PhD student Violeta Calleja was awarded in the fourth Edition of “Concurs de Pòsters de Doctorat”, a competition organized within the “V Setmana dels estudis de Postgrau” program by the Centre d'Estudis de Postgrau (CEP) of the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB).

The contest is aimed at PhD students who wish to present their recent research in poster format. Five winners were chosen, one for each branch of knowledge, being Violeta the winner in the "Sciences" category. Her poster "Ecological multilayer networks: Stabilizing mechanisms" was chosen by a jury made up of members of the “Comitè Executiu de l’Escola de Doctorat de la UIB” and two PhD students. Violeta’s doctoral research is advised by IFISC researchers Sandro Meloni and Emilio Hernández.
