Nonlinear Physics Group at SalamancaI have carried out research in this topic in collaboration with Dr. J. Güémez (from the Universidad de Cantabria). Our research in this topic has been mainly speculative. We have based on remarks of chaotic activity in the brain, and the evidence of regular (40 Hz) oscillations to build a model in which coupled chaotic model neurons exhibit a transition to regular behavior by using chaos control ideas.
