Two high level representatives of the European Space Agency will provide an overview and share experiences with the attendees.
Ramón Torres is the Project Manager of SENTINEL-1 (S-1), a space mission for Earth observation delivering a wealth of data and imagery that are central to Europe’s Copernicus programme. Two S-1 satellites, launched in April 2015 and April 2016, are fully operational.
César García is the Project Manager of LISA Pathfinder (LPF), a scientific space mission dedicated to the study of gravitational waves. LPF was launched in December 2015 and now is placed to its target: the L1 Lagrange point, 1.5 million km from Earth towards the Sun. LPF is fully operational and is already providing data to the scientific community.

This event represents a good opportunity to be informed about ESA activities
