I will introduce the basics of Mathematica, mainly for people using it sporadically, such as function/data plotting, numerical/analytical evaluation of matrices, simplification of expressions/(in)equalities, matrix manipulation, etc. I will place the Mathematica files to be used in the talk in /home/fernando/Public (at ifisc's common fileserver), in case anyone wants to bring a laptop and play with the files during the talk (either by having a local installed copy of Mathematica in the laptop, or by remotely accessing salmunia).
A second more advanced talk will be announced soon.
